15 days best of Uganda Safari | Wildlife | Hiking & Gorillas
Our 15 days best of Uganda safari starts and ends in Entebbe. It includes 1 gorilla permit of $800 per person in the final cost. This safari will take you to Jinja which is Uganda’s first capital and commercial city. While at Jinja, you will go rafting along the Nile and you will also take a relaxed drive along the river Nile. The safari will continue to Sipi Falls and while there, you will have a glimpse of the three beautiful and eye-catching waterfalls of Sipi. This safari will continue to Kidepo Valley National Park where the traveler will see the amazing wild treasure. Kidepo is one of Africa’s last great wilderness areas with a rugged savannah landscape. The safari will proceed to Murchison Falls National Park which is Uganda’s most visited and largest savannah national park. Murchison Falls also has Africa’s most powerful waterfalls and most travelers come to Uganda specifically to see the falls.
The safari takes you to Queen Elizabeth famous for Kazinga channel and many animal species including tree-climbing lions found in the Ishasha sector of the park. The other animal species found in this park include birds, elephants, kobs, and antelopes among others. This safari continues to Bwindi impenetrable national park in western Uganda. This park has over 340 mountain gorillas making it half of the mountain gorillas remaining in the world. Finally, this safari will take you to Lake Mburo National Park which is famous for zebras and the biggest antelope.

Detailed Itinerary: 15 Days Best Of Uganda Safari
Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Jinja.
Upon arrival at the airport, you will be met and greeted by our representative who will escort you to your tour vehicle where you will meet your friendly and professional guide who will be willing to help you with anything throughout the safari. You will then be transferred to Jinja for an overnight stay and dinner.

Day 2: White water rafting & boat ride along the Nile
Wake up, have breakfast, and transfer to the white water rafting starting point. The rafting excursion takes you to the hub of water rafting activities in Africa, as well as other adventures. You face the greatest challenge of the great river Nile while speeding through rapids with a qualified and experienced crew.
Conquer your anxieties and plunge down the rapids, then paddle between the eight rapids and take in the Nile’s breathtaking scenery. You will be in the greatest hands possible when embarking on this journey thanks to the expert rafting gear, safety boats, and knowledgeable kayakers.
After the rafting adventure, you will return to the lodge for lunch and then set out for the afternoon boat cruise. You will be met by the Boat Captain and you take a boat to the source of the Nile, visit the old power dam area then visit the Mahatma Gandhi monument. Thereafter you will return and transfer to your lodge.

Day 3: Transfer to Sipi Falls and hike the 3 waterfalls
After breakfast, you will transfer to Sipi Falls that are found in Kapchorwa which is north to Mbale. The other neighboring districts in relation to Sipi Falls are Sironko and Mbale. As you move towards the Kenyan border, there Lays Mountain Elgon National Park and it is at its edge that you will embrace the Sipi Falls. Upon arrival, you will hike a series of three of these waterfalls that make up the Sipi Falls.

Day 4: Hiking Mount Elgon
Rise up early and have breakfast, after setting out with a packed lunch. Meet the park guides who will brief you and are ready to guide you through the trails on the mountains, there will also be porters that can help carry your luggage just in case it’s heavy. You will start with any trail such as Kapkwai, Kapkwata, or Baradari Forest exploration centre. During the hike, you will have a great adventurous time. Later, return back to the hotel in the evening for dinner and Overnight at Sipi Falls

Day 5: Transfer to Kidepo Valley National Park via Moroto
Today after breakfast, you will hit the road to the famous Kidepo Valley National Park. Kidepo is one of Africa’s most beautiful destinations and is commonly known as the African wilderness. Upon arrival, you will check in at the lodge for relaxation, overnight stay, and dinner.

Day 6: Morning Game drive and evening game drive
Rising to the sounds of mother nature, have an early breakfast and go for a morning game drive in the true African wilderness along the Kanangorok hot springs which has a variety of wildlife such as Elephants, Antelopes, buffaloes, and Giraffes and you are likely to spot lions, cheetahs, and leopards as well.
After lunch, you will set out for an evening game drive in the Narus Valley. Kidepo Valley National Park has a great variety of animal species of which 28 of them do not occur in any other Ugandan national park. The Narus Valley offers an opportunity to see the park’s wildlife almost throughout the year. Here you have an opportunity to see the animals up close.

Day 7: Morning Game drive and evening game drive

Day 8: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast, you will continue your journey to Murchison Falls National Park with an en-route lunch. You can reach Murchison Falls National Park via the northern approach road and take the first game drive. Upon arrival at the park, you will check in at the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day 9: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise
With your packed breakfast, you will go for a morning game drive with your guide who will help you spot a large number of wildlife found in the park, you will be able to spot a lot of African animal wildlife for example: elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, lions, leopards, different species of antelope and many tropical birds. After the game drive, you will have lunch and then set out for an afternoon boat cruise. This boat will allow you to get close to the water animals which include over 4000 hippos as well as the Nile crocodiles. The Nile has got many stunning bird lives which is also enjoyed while taking your boat trip; these include; bee-eaters, colored kingfishers, shoebill storks, and grey-throated, and yellow-billed birds. After the boat cruise, you will go for a rest at the lodge in the Evening as you wait for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 10: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. This national park is famous for a variety of wildlife and chimpanzee species. The park was named after Queen Elizabeth the Second and it has a variety of animal species including impalas, kobs, forest hogs, elephants, buffaloes, tree-climbing lions, and the cape buffaloes.
Upon arrival at Queen Elizabeth, you will have lunch and have an afternoon at leisure.

Day 11: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise.
Arise early enough and after breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive where you will see various animals like elephants, elands, antelopes, buffaloes, and lions among others. After having your lunch at the lodge, you will transfer to Ishasha to see the famous tree-climbing lions which can only be sighted at Queen Elizabeth in the Ishasha sector. After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for lunch. After lunch, you will do the afternoon set out for a boat cruise on Kazinga channel where you will see various animals like crocodiles, hippos, water bucks, and buffaloes as well as birds like storks, kingfishers among others.

Day 12: Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park
After breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park via the Ishasha sector. The Ishasha sector is famous for its tree-climbing lions and the chances of seeing them are very high. Upon arrival, you will check in at the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day 13: Gorilla trekking- Bwindi Impenetrable
With well well-prepared packed lunch, you will assemble for briefing time at 8:00 a.m. During the briefing, you will learn more about the dos and don’ts of the gorilla trekking. It is at the briefing point where you will find the rangers who will inform you about gorilla tracking the great adventure and experience! The time taken to encounter these peaceful primates is impulsive for it may take 1-5 hours. Nevertheless, on encounter, one may be forced to say, it is stunning!!!! After the adventure certificate rewards will be successfully given out to every trekker. After the trek, you will return to the lodge for relaxation.

Day 14: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park with an afternoon boat cruise
After an early morning breakfast at the lodge, you will be transferred to Lake Mburo National Park which is among Uganda’s smallest savannah national parks. It was upgraded as a national park in 1983 and it is home to 332 bird species, animals like buffaloes, Oribis, kobs, warthogs, and zebras among others.
Upon arrival at the park, you will check in at the lodge, and have lunch in preparation for an unforgettable experience of the boat cruise along the lake. Still, a number of animals like crocodiles, and hippos among others will be seen. After the boat cruise, you will head back to the lodge for relaxation, an overnight stay, and dinner.

Day 15: Game drive and transfer to Entebbe
After breakfast, you will set out for the game drive through the park where your eyes will be fed with amazing sights and wildlife such as impalas, kobs, antelopes, also bird species.
Lake Mburo has a variety of antelopes including topi, duiker, Oribis, reedbuck, and klipspringer and the Rothschild giraffe has recently been reintroduced. However, the heights of the park have to be the Burch ells zebra and eland which are only found in two national parks in Uganda.
Saying goodbye to Lake Mburo National Park is never easy. After the game drive, you will check out of the lodge and transfer back to Entebbe International Airport for your flight back home.
