Detailed Itinerary: 4 days Zanzibar beach safari experience
Day 1: Arrival at Zanzibar and Transfer to your hotel.
Upon arrival at the airport, you will meet and be greeted by your driver guide. he will briefly take you through your trip plan and then transfer you to the hotel with beautiful views of Zanzibar Beach.
Day 2: Spice farm and Jozani forest trip
Today you go on an excursion to the spice and fruit plantations close to Stone Town for the famous Spice Tour. We have developed a special Spice Tour with in-depth information not only about spices, but also about organically grown herbs and a detailed description of their traditional uses in medicine cosmetics, and cooking.
After the tour, we invite you for an opulent lunch at our guides’ home, where you can taste the spices and fruits. After experiencing all about the spice tour you will be back at the hotel for your hot lunch.
on the way you pass Jozani Forest, the last habitat of the rare endemic Red Colobus Monkey. With a local guide, you stroll through Jozani Chwaka National Park and look at the rare monkeys. If you wish you can even wander down the boardwalk to the fascinating Mangrove Ecosystem.
Day 3: Prison Island, Nakupenda Beach, and Stone Town visit
After breakfast, you will proceed to the prison Island. While at the prison island, you will able to see Aldabra Giant Tortoise and Peacocks among others.
After the prison island visit, you will proceed to Nakupenda Beach. Nakupenda Beach got its name from a Sand Bank that is located near the Stone. At Nakupenda Beach, you will Town, swim, and do Snorkelling. It is one of the best beaches in Zanzibar with the best seafood.
After lunch, you will be taken to the stone town which is well known for its architecture. Stone town is one of the oldest cities in Africa and it is the former trading destination in East Africa. During this tour, you will explore the stone insights and city which will include the Anglican Cathedral, former slave market, Zanzibar National Museum, the old fort among others.
After a day full of adventure, you will be transferred back to the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.
Day 4: Transfer to the airport.
Depending on your flight schedule, you will check out of the lodge for the transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
