Detailed Itinerary: 8 Days Kenya Safari

Day 1: Arrival and transfer to the hotel

Upon arrival, you will be met and greeted by our English-speaking guide who will briefly take you through the trip plan. He will then transfer you to the hotel for relaxation and an overnight stay.

Accommodation: Concord hotel & suites

Meal plan: Bed & Breakfast

Day 2: Transfer from Nairobi to Masai Mara with an afternoon game drive.

After breakfast, you will check out of the hotel and proceed with the journey to Masai Mara with a brief stop at the Rift Valley View Point. Arrive at Camp/Lodge in time for lunch. After lunch, you will start exploring the Mara in search of the many wild animals found here and a visit to the river to witness the great wildebeest migration as they cross the river.

The Wildebeest are not the only tenants of the land. The Mara is also the home to among others, zebra, elephants, giraffes, and to big cats; cheetahs, lions, and leopards. Hyena, jackal, buffalo, eland, topi, impala, gazelle, and warthog add to this huge diversity of wildlife.

For bird lovers, it’s also a bird’s paradise with many species recorded here. Back to lodge late afternoon. Overnight and meals at lodge/Camp.

Day 3: Masai Mara full-day game drive.

After having your breakfast depart for a full day of exploring the Mara in search of the many wild animals found here and a visit to the river to witness the great wildebeest migration as they cross the river.

Day 4: Transfer from Masai Mara to Lake Naivasha

After breakfast, you will check out of the lodge for your transfer to Lake Naivasha. You will arrive in time for lunch. After lunch, proceed to Lake Naivasha for a boat ride to Crescent Island where you will be doing a nature walk next to zebras, giraffes, wildebeest, waterbucks, antelopes, and many types of birds. Return by boat to Naivasha for lunch at your lodge and then proceed to Nairobi.

Day 5: Transfer from Lake Naivasha to Amboseli.

Morning visit to Hells Gate National Park then proceed to Amboseli arriving in the evening. Accommodation: Sopa Lodge.

Day 6: Full-day game drive.

Day 7: Morning game drive & transfer back to Nairobi.

After breakfast, set out for an early morning game drive in the expansive Amboseli plains which are home to herds of elephants that feed on the large acacia trees. Have lunch and prepare for your transfer back to Nairobi.

Day 8: City tour and transfer back to the airport.
