The safari then shifts to the dramatic beauty of Victoria Falls, where travelers enjoy a dinner cruise on the Zambezi at sunset, a guided visit to the falls, cultural encounters, and thrilling optional activities such as rafting, jet boating, and scenic flights. The journey ends in Botswana’s Chobe National Park, famous for its river cruises, game drives, and abundant elephant herds, before wrapping up with a unique quadripoint and bridge experience. Detailed Itinerary: The Ultimate 14-Day African Safari
Day 1: Arrival at Nairobi and city tour
Your English-speaking guide will meet and greet you upon your arrival. He will take you through your 14-day African safari itinerary and then transfer you to Nairobi for the city tour. During this city tour, you will visit the national museum and the giraffe center. Thereafter, you will be transferred to the hotel for relaxation and dinner.

Day 2: Transfer to Masai Mara with evening game drive
Picked up from the hotel at 7:30 am after breakfast, we drove south with a stopover at the Rift Valley viewpoint for pictures. Arrive in the Masai Mara in time for lunch. After lunch and some relaxation, you will proceed on an evening game drive until 6 pm. Back to the lodge/camp for overnight.

Day 3: Full-day game drive
Picked up from the hotel at 7:30 am after breakfast, we drove south with a stopover at the Rift Valley viewpoint for pictures. Arrive in the Masai Mara in time for lunch. After lunch and some relaxation, you will proceed on an evening game drive until 6 pm. Back to the lodge/camp for overnight.

Day 4: Transfer to the airport for the flight to Cape Town
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Nairobi airport for the flight to Cape Town. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the hotel for relaxation and dinner.

Day 5: Full-day Cape Town city tour
The Cape Town City tour is your interactive walk through the past and present, and an introduction to our very diverse and unique cultures. The day is meant for you to meet locals and see all the major city center highlights. On this day, you will visit the Table Mountain Cableway and the Castle of the Good Hope.

Day 6: Full day exploring Cape Town
This tour will take you around the entire Cape Peninsula and includes highlights such as Cape Point Nature Reserve, Boulders Penguin Colony, Seal Island and Chapman’s Peak.

Day 7: Cape Winelands tour
This Cape Winelands tour will take you through two of the most popular towns in our wine region. Stellenbosch (South Africa’s oldest town), known for its numerous award-winning wine estates and Cape Dutch architecture, and also Franschhoek (French Corner), South Africa’s food and wine capital. The above is only a suggested itinerary and will be amended as you wish, should you wish.

Day 8: Transfer to the airport for the flight to Victoria Falls
After breakfast, check out of the lodge and transfer to the airport for the flight to Victoria Falls. Upon arrival at Victoria Falls Airport (VFA), you will be met by the Shrub Lodge team and transferred to the hotel for check-in processes. You then settle into your rooms, relaxing from the long-haul flight.
In the afternoon, you do your first activity in Vic Falls. This is the Zambezi dinner cruise. This is a truly unique and authentic experience that families can enjoy together.
After the cruise, you get transferred back to the Shrub lodge and sleep.

Day 9: The Shrub Lodge, Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe
You start your day with breakfast and immediately head to the Falls for a guided tour. Please note you will have to pay $50 at the entrance. Your guide will share his incredible knowledge of the fall’s history, geology, and other intriguing features. While at the Falls, you can opt to do the following:
- Jetboat: $120 per person
- Devil’s pool: $190 per person
- Rafting: $140 Per person
- Bungee Jumping: $168 per person
On the tour, you explore the local tribe and learn about traditional ways of life and how the village functions. Your guide will recommend a delicious lunch spot at the local restaurant. You then later return to the hotel for a short relaxation
In the late afternoon, a pick-up awaits you for an exciting Boma dinner and drum show. It’s a cultural activity experience, and you have an opportunity to taste local dishes, interact with locals, and enjoy the evening. Later, your driver transfers you back to the hotel for a good night’s sleep

Day 10: The Shrub Lodge, Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe
Your day begins with a delicious breakfast served at your lodge, setting a gentle and refreshing start to your morning. Soon after, your adventure for the day begins with an exciting white-water rafting experience. This exhilarating activity takes you through stunning gorges and refreshing rapids, offering both adrenaline-filled moments and serene stretches along the river. Your rafting excursion includes refreshments to keep you energized and hydrated throughout this unforgettable journey.

Day 11: Transfer to Kasane (Chobe)
On the fourth day after breakfast, you can opt for a short activity of 2, such as a helicopter ride, before checking out.
You then get transferred to the Botswana border and cross into Kasane, check in at Two Rivers hotel, have your late à la carte lunch and go relax in your rooms. In the afternoon, around 15:30hrs you get picked up for a boat cruise on the Chobe River. The cruise will last for about 3 hours, and you will enjoy both the beautiful scenery and the land and water wildlife species of Chobe.

Day 12: Two Rivers lodge, Kasane (Chobe)
Your second day starts with breakfast as usual at your hotel, and then you immediately start your activity routine. This time you will do your extended half-day Chobe game drive, which includes a packed lunch and snacks. This is a relaxed and serene way to experience Chobe Riverfront.
In the afternoon, your guide takes you back into the Chobe River again. Boat cruises are never the same and are never enough. You see and experience each time differently. The ruse lasts 3 hours, and you head back to the hotel for dinner early evening, then a good night’s sleep in your comfortable rooms.

Day 13: Two Rivers lodge, Kasane (Chobe)
Begin with a hearty breakfast at your lodge, giving you a calm and refreshing start to the morning. Shortly after, your day’s activities begin with a fascinating bridge tour, where you explore the historic structure linking two beautiful landscapes. This guided experience allows you to enjoy scenic views, learn intriguing facts, and appreciate the unique position of Two Rivers along the waterway.
After the bridge tour, you continue to your next highlight, a Quadripoint visit, a rare and remarkable geographical spot where four countries meet. This special 2-hour excursion lets you stand at one of the world’s only points of its kind, taking in panoramic views and capturing memorable photos.
As evening approaches, you make your way back to the lodge for a warm dinner and a peaceful night’s sleep in your comfortable room.
