Overview: 1-day golden monkey trek in Uganda
This 1 Day Uganda Golden Monkey Trek begins from Kigali as early as 3:00 am starting with breakfast at your hotel/ lodge. After your breakfast, your driver will transfer you to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park in the green forest vegetation.
The Drive guide will drive you for about 3 hours and 30 minutes to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park in Kisoro District on arrival here; Transfer to the headquarters for briefing on the unique code of conduct around the golden monkeys and then after distributing you into groups of 8 with a park ranger.
This will take us through the edges of the forest via potato fields and the briefing will be conducted in the same place where the usual gorilla trekking is located. Please note that the trekking will take us 3-4 hours.
After the golden monkey trek, you will be driven back to your hotel in Kigali.
